CRANKY 31ST

Went Chinese New Year shopping today.
Unfortunately, I'm in one hell of a grumpy mood today. I think I definitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. So not feeling the shopping mood. I guess it's because I'm really too tired.

My bro, sis and mum had a nice time (which is good) because they manage to buy nice new clothes for themselves. I managed to get a cardigan worth RM10 but it really wasn't a mood booster. I guess it's because I don't have enough of sleep! And I had been deprived of Neslo for too many days. And today, one whole day, I've been suffering from SINUS!

Oh but the Laksa at Midvalley was definitely a great mood boost. At least for a few hours before I dwell back into gloominess. I feel bad that I was such a pain in the ahem today but I am really tired that I look like a walking zombie.

Chinese New Year shopping is like one of the activities I really don't enjoy. I know I know...it's a festival and all, it should be all cheers but I hate the crowded public areas...cars going crazy on the road - trying to cut queue just to get one or two minutes ahead of one another and disregarding the traffic rules that had been the norm for years! Also, I hate to load stuff in and out of the car etc etc. Okaylar...for some, it's part of the fun.

Tomorrow is round two of shopping...yes, seriously! My turn to hunt for some clothes...Destination: Berjaya Times Square. Well, I seek pride in getting cheap, non-branded stuff. I just don't know why.

I guess I should really get some sleep tonight. But well, it's already past midnight and I still need to eat some food. Guess I'll still endure a few more episodes of Criminal Minds and Supernatural before hitting the sack.

Anywayz, I'm out!

TammyC - mood not any better because some people watching football and I can't load my shows...wat the ...

@6AM

It's almost 6a.m. and I'm still here blogging.
Oh well. I just feel that I need to jot something, since it's been a few days since I put my thoughts into words haha.

These few days were good days.
Yesterday I met a great lady - love her confidence and her charms and I really hope that I can work with her.

Today is also a great day. Went to the movies. Caught up with 2 good friends. Basically, just living and enjoying life while I still have the privilege to.

Been on Facebook looking at pictures. My God. I suddenly realized how much me and my friends has changed throughout the years.

Okaylar...I'm really too drained to continue writing.
Catch up soon!!

PHONES CALLS, PACKAGE, CATCHING UP & A GRATEFUL DAY

A strings of calls woke me up this morning.
I'm sorry but it really irritates me when I get these calls (or messages) when I'm in the middle of my slumber. Unless if it's an urgent call or message but no...sometimes I wake up to find an SMS from the telco telling me about its latest promotions. What the...I'm sleeping for God's sake. I'm sorry I'm a person who wakes up late but still...telco should stop spamming us with stuff like these. Ruins people's day.

This morning I was awaken by 4 calls. 3 are urgent but still it disrupted my beauty sleep. You know, I've this problem trying to get back to sleep after I wake up and these 3 calls is coming like one after another. Yes...the moment I doze off another one comes in and cut me off rest.

I ended up feeling quite cranky today. Usually I feel that way when I don't have enough sleep. Plus, these few days, I didn't get my coffee supply 'cause we are out and it makes me feel worse since I didn't get the needed boost of caffeine to make me feel a tad more hyper. I know I shouldn't depend on coffee but still, I just can't help but like the bittersweet taste of my Neslo. It's only been two days without Neslo and I felt like I haven't tasted it for centuries, wtf~ Talk about addiction.

But seriously, I have nothing to complain about for today I got 3 great calls that practically made my day (hehe freelance paycheck should be coming soon). Let's just say I got some great news on more career opportunities and a package. Well, I know I have something now but...well, I guess I'm never contented argh!

Met up with a few buddies today at Sri Pentas and also met some cool people and shared some great conversations. I guess that's what I like to do; I like to meet people, exchanging trivial discussions or maybe make a few new acquaintances.
Surprised but it was nice to see HH there also haha. It was funny to see a familiar face but she was good company.

Also managed to catch up with King Kong after that, for a while. Sometimes it's surprising how someone you thought you'd never hang out with be someone that you enjoy hanging out with and in fact, you feel like they actually know how you are feeling. Though we are very different people, it's amazing that we actually share similarities too haha. The fact is in many ways, though King Kong is super sarcastic (but I like that because it makes her honest), she makes some of my days and today, though she isn't the usual self (cuz she has a bad stomach pain), she still managed to find time for me.

Oh and it's time to plan for CNY really. It's only, what?..like less than 20 days to Chinese New Year but I'm still not feeling it. No reds in the house, no food, no nothing...hmmm...the festive mood really fades off as we age. Sigh.

When we were young, we look forward to new clothes and ang paus but now, hmmm...perhaps the holidays lar (ang paus too lar but now that we're grown up, it's like we don't do much house visiting either). But this year would be interesting since Valentine's Day clashes or put it in a more positive tone, unites with CNY. Haha, congrats to those lovebirds out there...good luck trying to split your body and be there for your partner and your family on the first day of CNY muahaha. (Ya ya ya, just assume I'm sour grapes 'cause I'm single muahaha)

I actually heard some girls insist that their boyfriends book that day specially for them. '=.= Imagine...one on hand you have your nagging mother telling you it's CNY and it's time to spend with the family...on the other hand you've got your girlfriend demanding your full attention since it's Valentines Day. You know what? Get used to it guys, because that's how it'll be like once you're married anyway haha...

So I'm assuming more shopping to do soon, but then again, not like a lot of shopping lar since I'm actually kinda empty in the pockets. All the outflows and no inflows haha. Pathetic...haha...

But anyway, to wrap up today, it is one of the most productive days I've had in weeks. Thank God for that. I'm grateful and hopefully, it's really a better year in 2010!! Cheers~
Ps: I'm in a more cheery mood these past few weeks, maybe because I'm lazing around a lot haha.

With Lotsa Lurve to give,
TammyC and better days ahead...moving on to Supernatural instead of Criminal Minds now haha...

DISSING DITZIES

I know it's human rights but but but I just can't stand girls who just like to act as if they are super cute by wearing fake contacts to make their eyes look bigger and also wearing fake long eyelashes that makes them look super pretty but actually, not that pretty.

I was blog hopping when I came across this blog full of these cam-whore pics of this young lady who has all the traits of being Taiwanese Next Fake super model.
Honestly, she is darn pretty without the make-up - she look sweet but when she 'gaga-fy' (term derived from Lady Gaga) her looks with the fashions of a Taiwanese pop-star, she becomes horridly pretty. Get the idea? I mean Lady Gaga is a performer so she has to be dramatic in her outfits and make-up but this is like a teen who hasn't even mature scholarly.

I don't get teens these days really. Why do they like poses that make them look cute when they are in fact super pretty naturally. They usually enlarge their eyes during camera shots and not forgetting their *peace* sign  or their palms opening next to their tiny mouth.

(These pictures are acquired from public randomly, not blogs so no privacy invasion intended)

Hmmm maybe this are the so call popular girls in Malaysian highschool. If in US we have blonde bimbos, in Malaysia, we have "Taiwanese-cum-gaga eyelashes" act-cute girls (if you know Taiwanese superstar Rainie Yang, you'll know the kinda girl I'm talking about). All of them fall under the 'ditzies' category. No offense. Well guys digg them...so consider that I'm just jealous (NOT!).

Some of these girls set up blogs just to exploit their beauty and put multiple (by multiple I mean possibly hundreds) shots of themselves cam-whoring with their fake assets. '=.=

If blogging once meant fixating in the electronic world your opinions, ideas and feelings accompanied by some descriptive pictures to make a point, some blogs have now mutated into a personal portfolio demonstrating the beautiful (fake) features for others to fetish on. I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm just saying, I won't do it (ahem...I hope I don't get mutated) and I just don't get it. But well if pictures like that get the blog 1000 over hits per day, who am I to say anything right? Mine is only getting like what, a mere 20?

Anyway I haven't been blogging much these days, well mainly because I'm currently crazy over TV series and I practically have my butt glued onto the seat. Not good but well, break is over soon and will have to get back to work soon. The best thing to do now is to enjoy and relax as much as possible before heading back to the world of adulthood.

*Ta* folks~

ROUTINES

How is it that some routines are just so tolerable while some aren't?
I met up with a friend the other day who is undergoing her internship and she was telling me about how her life now is. Morning go to work, evening drive back from work and then go online and that is a day gone.

I told her that was exactly how I felt previously and that is like the kinda life that I just don't want to live, unless circumstances force me to.

I guess this is one routine that I just don't want to get into if I have a choice.

My mum asked me just now suddenly, out of no where if I regretted quitting my first job. Fantastic pay...but part of the 9 to 5 cycle and doing something that I feel alien to. I can honestly, deep down from my heart say that I don't. Even though right now, I'm not in like a great position, but I can say that I have no regrets. I admit that I f up real bad with my first job, I would do a lot of things differently but I don't regret quitting. I feel that it's the only way for me to move on. I'm still waiting for a chance...but I hope I still have a chance to correct things.

I'm also going through a routine right now...everyday...I'm doing the same things online, with my tv series. But how come this routine seems so bearable and in fact, if not for the guilt of doing nothing, I can say that I'm actually enjoying it a lot.
Okaylar...hopefully things are changing for the better and next time, I'll have better stuff to crap about rather than how pathetic I am haha.
I seriously have no life now.

LIZZZZZZZZARD!!

So sorry I don't share love for animals but I really don't.
It's late at night here and I'm hearing lizards doing their thing...I mean making weird sounds (don't go somewhere else with that).

I'm sorry but I'm really disgusted by the sounds and I just really not like lizards and frogs..uh uh...nope I really don't like them.
What am I doing so late at night?
Well I've been playing this zoo game on FB (yes, kinda lame) and I'm waiting for my whale to breed...so ya...nevermind...I know it's stupid but that's what happen when you have nothing better to do.
That's it...
Crap's over.

ps: the lizard rings again!

WORKING AT THE CARWASH....

Worked at the car wash bay yesterday - yes, literally because there is a car wash bay below our apartments for residents' car washing activities.

With 3 cars, it totally means that the 3 of us (me, sis & bro) have to wash our butts off!
Me personally and my sis are resisting hard the temptation to just drive to the nearest "bubble car wash" station and get them cars done.

Who does their own car washing, especially when there are 3 cars, right? Okay lar apparently we have to. We're just lazy. My bro suddenly turned all goody boy and insisted that car washing is a great family activity. Ya right! And a torturous one too...okaylar...I know I need to exercise a bit so...I did the washing anyway.

I was feeling better about the car wash activity later. I was gleaming proud that the Kenari is almost sparkling clean and wanted to show it off to me friends who have been laughing at the cars dirty condition of my poor Kenari.

We were halfway through the second car (my dad's Viva) when the dark clouds suddenly decided to say hi. Eventually, the dark clouds brought along a friend, Mr. Heavy Rain. I don't know which is worst, the rain wetting us or the rain washing away our effort on the car.
Sigh...
Since we don't have enough shaded carpark lots, we actually have to park our cars outside...and we had to park it beneath a tree. ARGH!! You know lar...when cars are parked under a tree, we get all sorts of things lying all over the car - flowers, seeds, leaves, branches, you name it.

My point here is what is the point of a car wash if it rains anyway??
But I guess wasting effort and disappointing yourself is better than wasting RM 10 on a bubble car wash.

Take care folks...
Another adventure awaits.
I hope tonight's session (don't ask what) won't be bad and won't take long.

Still waiting for a call that would change my life.

SEAT ALERT!!

People, if ever you enter a cinema and is rubbing your way in the dark, please remember to also rub if the seat is intact.

Okay today went to the cinemas with me friends, watched "Case 39". Movie reviews later.
Anyway, walking along the aisle, saw row F - great! Our seats....
First friend entered, second friend entered, I entered and sat...
*dung*
Landed my poor butt on a cushion laying on the floor. Great...apparently the cushion wasn't fastened. It was basically just laying on the ground. My butt was in a good condition but my leg knocked I don't know what and was blobbing pain but yes, the incident was "Joke of the Day".

SO basically my friend sitting next to me can't stop laughing for the next I don't know how many minutes. I guess she might not stopped if the movie isn't a scary one (for her, not me).

By the way, the problem wasn't fix. To cut a long story short, let's just say I exchanged seats with a friend.

Tada so yes!
Advice - CHECK UR SEATS BEFORE PLACING BUTTS PEOPLE..
unless of course you wanna make people laugh then by all means, entertain and look silly =D

Cheers!~

BUBBLE TEA MAKES ME BUBBLY~

First of all, welcome to my 5th blog!!!
Yes yes...I have multiple blogs and some might thing I'm incredibly nuts.
I do try my best to update each one of them, but highly active are my movie and music blogs lar and I have a feeling, this one too hehe.

Anyway this is the territory where I crap about random stuff...just anything I feel like writing about.

For example today, I'm going to talk about *ta da* BUBBLE TEA!

I have no idea why but recently, I've started becoming a huge fan of bubble tea. Before this, bubble tea is not really something I'd drink or think about. In Ipoh, it wasn't really a trend for me but here in KL, I'm suddenly like friggin' addicted to it, and I don't know why. Last month alone, I've drank bubble tea 3 days in a row. I'm actually afraid to go buy it because I think the person at the stall had already recognize my round "bubble-tea maniac" face.

My favourite Bubble Tea shop is "Little Taiwan" in Midvalley. Yesterday though I discover a new "Little Taiwan" in One U (*happy!happy*) and I guess that is going to be another place where I can get my happy drink supply.

Today I happened to walk along the 'pasar malam' near Cheras Leisure mall.
I can't help it but I just want my dose of bubble tea...they say you can get cheap bubble tea at pasar malam so I decided to try it even though I have been stuck in the toilet today due to extreme stomachache.

I decided on the chocolate flavour and persuaded my mum to try the honeydew flavoured one. My conclusion for the day is "Pasar malam's bubble tea is definitely not as good as Little Taiwan's. In fact, it kinda sucked." But to be fair, Little Taiwan's bubble tea is double the price of the pasar malam, so OF COURSE IT SHOULD TASTE BETTER. Value for money ma~

Well that's about it then.
My advice before I end, DON'T BUY BUBBLE TEA FROM PASAR MALAM unless you are sure that that stall serve good ones =P.

Take care peeps...
Tomorrow is another day out for me.

With Lotsa Love,
